About Sigdalslag: Sigdalslag was organized in 1911 to maintain bonds among the emigrants from the Sigdal, Eggedal and Krødsherad municipalities in Buskerud, their descendants, and their friends and relatives that remained in Norway. Membership in our lag allows access to our excellent genealogist and also to our contacts in Norway who will assist in your family search. Sigdalslag combines with 6 other lag, once a year for the 7-Lag Stevne, typically held in July. It is a fun time to see old friends, meet new ones, learn about our Norwegian culture and history and also do genealogical research. Contacts for membership are listed below.
